Thanks for mentioning that, Sarah. I have set up an appointment for us at the bookstore on Monday. So we should have it all to ourselves. We went there last year and loved it. At that time I determined that I HAD to come back to London to visit this bookstore…and I am! It’s a wonderful place.

Hi, I found your blog via Marjorie Vidal’s blog.
Would hate you to waste your journey to Bookaid but the London (Sydenham) Bookaid is usually only open on Thursdays. I’ve checked the website which confirms this. It is a reasonable drive from central London-about 30-40minutes-so it is worth checking that they will be open on a Monday.
Bookaid is a great rescource.
